Exciting new stuff!

Well it's been ages since my last post, the painted lady got finished off and was installed in to her new home, there are some photos somewhere that I'll put up when I find them.

We've been lucky enough to take on a couple of interesting commissions in the past week.

The first one is a glass plaque for the opening of the new Staffordshire Cancer Centre, it's going to be a snazzy little number in mirror and sandblasted glass. A senior member of our team has been battleing cancer for the best part of this year and is now in remission, so we know how important it is that sufferers get the best treatment possible. It's an honour to be asked to do this for them, I just hope they like what we've made for them!

We've also been asked to make some new stained glass for a mystery palace somewhere down south (we're not allowed to reveal the actual name - bah!) they've got a few handpainted sections, which Becky is working on as we speak. Lucky her - the kiln room is the only warm part of our building at this time of year!
